Unlike the Ultenic T10 (reviewed earlier) which you can’t put on the carpet, this robot is the base station. You will work on the carpet Because the ports are at the bottom of the robot, not behind it.
I spent Testing this bot in the past few days, and this review is the result of that. Scroll down to see all the results and whether Yeedi is worth considering among the other options available.

Introduction to Yeedi Vac . Station
Since the launch of the Roomba + I7, we have seen an influx of self-discharging robotic vacuums of various designs.
The Yeedi Vac Station is one of the more affordable options compared to other brands in its class, which means robots with intelligent navigation.
The K781+ is the latest version of Yeedi, and based on tests, its best choice so far with cleaning performance, navigation, and ease of use.
But first, let’s move on to the features.
automatic unloading station
One of Yeedi’s strengths is the automatic discharge station design. unlike Ultenic T10 With the alignment issues, it’s not with the Vac station because the ports are under it, not behind it.
It comes disassembled into two main pieces, and assembling it together will require one screw tightening, which comes in the package.
Yeedi also includes a screwdriver, so you’ll have everything you need right out of the box.
Satchel 2.5 liter capacitysame Ecofax T8 AIVI (with base station) and N8 +.
I’ve read the comments in my video review about Ecovacs owning Yeedi, so it’s no surprise that both brands use similar ingredients.
I love the Opp bag packed design without bags One because it seals itself upon withdrawal. This design reduces exposure to allergens to a minimum, which is something to consider if you suffer from allergies.
Out of the box, consumers will get an extra bag. Replacement bags will be available at Yeedi’s Amazon Store.
Two ports do an excellent job (for the most part) sucking the contents out of the dust container. She has never had any dust or hair issues – the most common pollutants you will encounter on a daily basis.
Design and interface
This robot uses a round frame, but unlike most other brands in this niche, it uses a camera sensor.
Not so much with the interface as it has one button. You will have to download the app to unlock all the features.
Open the upper door, it will reveal the trash and QR code associated with the app.
At the bottom, she uses one side brush and one combo brush.
Unique design with the basic brush is the detachable nature of the fins and bristles. It doesn’t mean you need to remove it all the time, but if it needs a deep cleaning, you’ll have that option.
Behind the combo brush is the water tank, which also doubles as a placeholder for the pillow.
Unfortunately, there is no way to move the pad behind the water tank. You will either have to flip the robot over or remove the water tank to install it due to the design.
Trash container design and capacity
Vac . Station Dustbin Can hold up to 420ml, which is below average for a robot vacuum. But with robots that discharge automatically, the amount of dirt should not be an issue because the base station empties it after each run.
Like the Ecovacs, the Yeedi litter box has a HEPA filter and a tailgate that opens. Please note that this filter is not washable as it uses a paper element, but you can wash the foam filter that covers it (see photo below).
Here’s a closer look at the HEPA filter.
Below are two ports where the base station dumps debris. It is a design similar to Roomba I6+ and S9+but it has two ports versus the iRobot port.
Water tank
Behind the robot is a water tank Capacity 240 ml. It is electronically controlled so that it does not shed when not in use.
I like its positioning in relation to the automatic unloading station because users will have easy access without having to move the robot.
Yadi Fak Station It has smart navigation Thanks to the camera installed on top and the optical sensor below.
It has SLAM, which enables it to create and save a map. Unfortunately, only one can save.
It moves in straight lines in the direction of the base station (this is based on my tests). Unlike LIDAR robots that start cleaning edges,
My hands start in the middle before moving to the boundaries of the area.
By default, it goes around the area twice, so the resolution is fine. But in the coverage test, it lost this area near the base station.
One of the odd things about the camera sensor is its reliance on light, at least for initial operation, in order to be able to paint the room adequately.
While it can operate in complete darkness, you will need lighting for best results. Efficiency will decrease to less light.
However, you will need to Remove the light mat Without any rubber backing as the robot’s primary brush tries to suck it in, causing the robot to stop and release an error code.
I’ve had this problem several times over the past week using it.
How does it work in confined spaces?
It didn’t get stuck on the legs of the office chair during the navigation tests, which is a problematic point for the shuffled navigation options.
Also, avoiding obstacles is decent, Definitely better than Roomba I6 +Because it slows down, it doesn’t hit any of the furniture hard.
Application Features
K781 + vac station is Compatible with Yeedi . App. You won’t be dazzled by the features, but they are just enough for automated hands-free cleaning.
I’ll quickly go through the features.
live map
Despite the presence of a camera sensor, the Yeedi app has a live map, which Roomba does not have. I like this feature because it gives consumers a real-time view of where the bot is in your home.
However, it will not show any lines as with the LIDAR robot, only an animated icon.
Save the map
Thanks to SLAM, Yeedi Vac . Station Maps can be drawn and saved. Unfortunately, it can Only one storage. I’m not sure why Yeedi is limited to one level, but I hope they add at least one to improve the user experience.
The app says you may need to turn the bot three to five times to accurately draw the map. But that wasn’t the case in my tests. It is possible to create the map in one round as long as lights on And There are no obstacles in the path of the robot.
You’ll need to save the map to unlock the containment feature which we’ll look at next.
containment (default boundary)
Yeedi has only one type of containment feature – restricted area – squares or rectangles drawn on the map.
so there There is no way to draw diagonal lines To block more complex layouts. In most cases, these boxes are sufficient to prevent the robot from entering certain areas such as the laundry or bathroom.
You have to be more creative with the more complex areas.
Map management
Consumers can use this tab to Naming regions and setting virtual boundaries. Once the robot finishes cleaning, it will automatically divide the areas based on internal calculations. I guess when he detects the door frame. Use it as a reference point to separate areas.
Unfortunately, people can’t set their own boundaries, so once the bot draws the map, all sections are final.
Also, I don’t see an option to add more maps, so it only saves one.
Clean the designated area
Another feature unlocked after mapping is cleaning the assigned area. It’s similar to spot cleaning, but instead of carrying the robot to the area, you can draw boxes for the cleaning areas.
area cleaning
Users can choose Clean specific rooms Using the tab clean the area. You can do this by clicking on a specific area on the map. There is also an option to control the number of passes, between one and two.
Space options
The app provides a quick access tab to the most useful features. You can do this by scrolling up the bottom part of the window.
Displays power options, quick access to scheduling, sound settings, and cleaning preferences.
All features have labels to explain what they do, making it easier for consumers to understand.
- Continuous cleaning: The robot will clean the unfinished areas after it is recharged.
- Do not interrupt: It prevents the bot from running in a specified time frame.
- Auto Boost: Increases suction when it detects carpet.
- Automatic unloading: Tells the base station to empty the robot’s trash can after each run.
- Cleaning sequence: The bot will follow a pre-set cleaning sequence based on your preference.
How much power does the Yeedi Vac Station have?
Most of the brands here reveal their power with the Pascal, which is a suction unit. Yeedi Vac station has 3000 Pa, and it is at the higher end.
But using this can be misleading, as some high suction robots do not perform as well as other brands with lower Pascal numbers.
One such example is Mova L600 Robot Vacuum Cleaner With Claimed 4000 Pa of Suction. Based on airflow tests, it scored 17 CFM, i.e. Five Less This Robot (23 CFM).
Here are the results for your reference.
- Basic: 19.74 cubic feet per minute
- the above: 19.74 cubic feet per minute
- Max +: 23 cubic feet per minute
Deep cleaning results confirm this disparity, with Yeedi performing better (80% vs. 66.65%).
What I love about Yeedi is that there isn’t much difference between the standard and max+ settings. So it is possible to use the lowest setting and turn on the carpet boost feature to increase the energy on this surface when it is detected.
cleaning performance
Next, we’ll take a look at how well a Yeedi Vac station can be cleaned. I’ve tested it on various types of debris such as Quaker oats, coffee grounds, quinoa, pet droppings, sand, and hair.
- Total: 93.8%
- Solid ground: 98.85%
- Sand on the hard floor: 99.5%
- carpet: 96.87%
- deep cleaning: 80%
The results are completely linear, with There is no noticeable decrease. In general, it was Better on hard floorswhich is not surprising due to the high airflow.
However, there is a slight decrease in carpet surface cleaning due to a combination of factors such as brush design, navigation, and trash size.
hard floor results
- Quaker Oats: 99.6%
- Cafe floors: 100%
- Quinoa: 97.2%
- pet litter: 98.6%
This robot did its best work on hard surfaces, with most results in the high 90s. Thanks to the higher airflow, picking up debris wasn’t a problem, but the side brush did scatter some debris around. Don’t spin as fast as a file Roomba.
sand on hard floor
The Yeedi Vac station did well in sand sweeping with an average pickup of 99.5%.
The passes were clean, and most of it devoured after one pass, further evidence of the advanced airflow.
hair wrap
Next, we’ll take a look at how well a Vac station does on hair. I tested it on five and seven inch hair and here are the results.
- 5 inch: 87% in the trash 13% wrapped on the brush
- 7 inch: 35% in the trash 65% wrapped on the brush
The 5-inch test result was excellent, considering that this robot does not have an active anti-tangle system.
Nothing coiled on the brush except the axle. Both end caps are detachable, making it easy to clean.
But it didn’t work well with strands longer than seven inches. The hair is wrapped around the bristles and you may need scissors to remove the hair.
Edge cleaning
High airflow is demonstrated in edge cleaning test. Despite the circular shape, it has a high score in this area – one of the best round shaped robots that cleans this area.
Carpet results
Now, let’s move on to the carpet results. Its performance was slightly worse, but still above average.
Low stack results
- Quaker Oats: 92.2%
- Cafe floors: 94.8%
- Quinoa: 99.2%
- pet litter: 98.2%
You’ll notice that it didn’t do well with Quaker oats and coffee grounds. One reason was how much overflowed, so some spilled over the trash can opening.
It did much better with quinoa and pet litter – back in the ’90s, which is an excellent result.
Mid-stack results
- Quaker Oats: 99.2%
- Cafe floors: 94.2%
- Quinoa: 99.4%
- pet litter: 97.8%
The mid-stack grades somewhat mirror those of the lower pile, but did better with Quaker Oats, capture more than 99% – If you’re asking why it’s better, choose Quaker oats in the middle of the pile.
It may not have been Quaker oats that spilled from the dustbin when I picked it up from the robot.
deep cleaning
One area where the robot vacuum struggles is cleaning up the sand on the carpet, so I rubbed 100gm on a medium pile carpet for this experiment.
I picked up Rank 80% after 2 examswhich is one of the best results other than Roomba.
How good is the Yeedi Vac Station Mop?
One of the underappreciated features of the Vac station is its scanning ability.
I’ve tested it on red wine stains, and the results are excellent. It didn’t clean all the stains after running it once, but the surface wasn’t streaky after that, a sign it was fine.
Also, I didn’t notice it stopping, and this was a problem with the previous bot I tested – Ultenic T10.
However, I do not recommend using hybrid mop robots for heavy stains Because these machines are not designed for this task.
Light spots, a Vac station will do the job well enough, but you will have to drain the water tank and Wash the pillow after each run.
I’d say it’s almost as good as Roborock S5 Max or S6 MaxVbut taking advantage of the base station being automatically unloaded.
How noisy is Yeedi Vac Station?
Despite the high airflow, the Yeedi Vac station is not only very noisy Max at 66.1 dB With sound meter test.
Here are the full results.
- Basic: 59.5 dB
- the above: 63.1 dB
- Max +: 66.1 dB
How long does Yeedi Vac Station run?
This robot comes With Li-ion battery 5200 mAh with claimed Run time 200 minuteswhich is excellent and gives high air flow.
Uptime should not be a major concern for smart robotic vacuums as they resume cleaning after recharging. Add the self-discharge feature, which increases the convenience of using hands.

Parts Availability
Yeedi has her own Amazon store where she sells parts like brushes, filters, and bags. So you don’t have to worry about these ingredients as they are readily available. But things like a side brush motor or fall sensors may not be available because this company is relatively new.
maintenance
robotic vacuums Especially with maintenance. These machines need more TLC than stick vacuum because they rely on an array of sensors for navigation. If any component becomes too dirty, you risk burning it and shortening its life. To maximize their efficiency and longevity, be sure to check, clean or replace these components regularly.
- Main and side brushes: These two components get the most abuse because they are responsible for directing dirt toward the trash. Check both at least once a week for contaminants (especially hair) that build up to prevent unnecessary friction.
- Dustbin: Even with automatic emptying station: Debris will accumulate, especially in the filter area. Check it once a week and clean it if necessary. The black filter piece is washable, but not the HEPA filter. One way to remove dirt (with HEPA) is to tap it against a hard surface, then use a handheld vacuum cleaner with a brush tool to pick up loose debris from the folds.
- Sensors: The Vac station has an array of sensors around it for navigation. Use a clean (dry) towel to wipe and clean at least once a month.
- Wheels: Check all wheels for debris buildup. Get a clean (dry again) towel to wipe the wheels and side wheels. Also check the threads of the side wheels for any debris stuck to them.
- Automatic unloading station: Make sure the two input ports are clean. Wipe the outside of these ports if you see any defects and empty the dust bag when it’s full.

Does Yeedi Vac Station Provide Excellent Value?
I would say yes, it does provide a lot of value for your money at current price levels. Its ability to clean both surfaces, as well as its wiping capabilities, make it a good value alternative if the Roomba is too expensive.
I’d go with Yeedi over Ultenic because it cleans better on carpet, and you can store the base station on this surface without worrying about any port misalignment.
5 reasons to choose Yeedi Vac . Station
- Above average in cleaning compacted sand on carpet: The 80% score in our deep cleaning tests is one of the highest other than Roomba.
- Self-discharge feature: The Auto Empty feature eliminates the human element of having to manually empty the trash after every run.
- high air flow: A score of 23 CFM in airflow tests is on par with other high-end robots such as Roomba S9It picks up debris well on hard floors and carpets.
- reasonable cost: I would say the price is fair considering the above average vacuuming and mopping performance.
- Low profile design: Without a LIDAR cover, this robot is tucked under furniture from other brands with a laser sensor that it can’t.
Verdict: An excellent all-round robotic vacuum cleaner with self-discharge
I wasn’t expecting much, but Yeedi Vac . Station Excessive expectations With how to vacuum it up for carpeted or hard surfaces. It is one of the best options other than Roomba for deep cleaning of carpets, which makes it a viable option in homes with this type of surface.
How well it wiped was a surprise to me. Not as good as a Roborock S7 with stain removalbut it left an uncomplicated surface, which is always a sign of a good scanning bot.
Being a brand new comes with concerns about parts availability, but Yeedi is strong in its versions of its products, and if you look at their other products like the K650, they’ve got high ratings.
I’ve been using this product for a week, and everything has been fine – no major mobility or cleaning performance issues.
