The first Tineco product I reviewed was A10And, while it performed well in my cleaning tests, it wasn’t on par with the Dyson when it came to fit and finish.
They’ve improved the quality with the next A11, but the Pure One S12 is probably their best product so far When it comes to quality and performance.
I did a lot of testing to see how it works in several areas like uptime, noise, usability and cleaning performance, and I have to say this product has exceeded my expectations. It’s not perfect, but it brings some unique features to the table that you don’t see in other brands.
High tech cordless stick vacuum cleaner

Tineco Pure One S12 review
The Tineco Pure One S12 It has some innovative features not found in other brands in its price range. One of my favorite features is Wall-mounted bracket that charges the vacuum cleaner and additional battery simultaneously. It is also possible Accommodates up to three other attachments, Which makes it a really space saving tool if you don’t mind drilling holes on the wall. Another unique feature is the slider that provides more precise control over the amount of power required. It also has an automatic feature where the vacuum cleaner adjusts the power for you, depending on how much dirt passes through the iLoop sensor.

presented to Tineco Pure One S12
Tineco is a relatively new brand that has only been around for a few years. Their first product He was the champion of the A10And it performed decently in all of my cleaning tests.
However, it lacked many areas, particularly small things like the quick release latch that makes it easy to attach and remove tools from the vacuum cleaner.
The Tineco Pure One S12 It addresses these issues and is probably its best product yet when you combine quality and performance.
Unfortunately, it’s their most expensive offering and overpriced for the Dyson V10. Yes it is It has more power than V10 (60.8 feet per minute versus 44 feet per minute) at the highest setting. This vacuum stick At the level of the Dyson V11 In terms of power they are both in the same price range.
LED screen
The first thing that caught my eye when I first got this product is the large LED display on the box.
At first, I thought it was a touch screen, but it wasn’t. The screen achieved high levels of clarity as Tineco used bright colors and a dark background, and scored high on contrast.
It provides information like battery status, power level, WiFi, potential obstacles, iLoop sensor status, and much more.
Not many other brands have an LED display in their products. Another blank that comes to mind is Dyson V11 . torque motor.
trigger lock
The green arrow indicates the trigger lock.
While the Pure One S12 has the same trigger mechanism as the Dyson cordless vacuum, it does come with a trigger lock that keeps it in the “on” position. So there is no need to hold the trigger for long jobs constantly.
I like this feature because it’s less stress on the arm and fingers when vacuuming floors. It’s a nice convenient addition and is a plus point for ease of use.
Slider to adjust power
Another unique feature of the Pure One S12 is the power adjustment slider behind the LED display.
While other brands use a button or slider with a fixed number of settings, the option in this spare offers a range. It gives the user more precise control over how much power should be used as needed.
There will be a slight delay of a few milliseconds, but it’s not that bad. The slider is an industry first, and only time will tell if other brands follow suit.
It’s like slapping an iPhone on a cordless vacuum.
I prefer leaving it in automatic mode for most cleaning tasks. But it does give you the option to increase or decrease the suction if needed.
automated system
Another option for people who don’t want to mess with the power setting is to use the automatic mode.
This mode triggers the iLoop sensor (right in front of the dust cup) which detects the amount of dirt passing through and adjusts the suction when excess is selected.
that it Different from Dyson V11A sensor detects the type of surface.
This system is more efficient and uses energy better because there is no need to use a high air flow if there is not much to clean regardless of the surface.
Unique charging base
The charging dock is another innovation worth mentioning.
It can charge two batteries at the same time and can only store up to three additional suction tools.
This feature saves space and time as you don’t have to wait for the battery to fully charge because the dock will charge the extra battery even if the vacuum cleaner is in use.
Attachments and tools
Tineco offers one of the most versatile sets of accessories available on the market. You will get a total of thirteen tools if you buy the flagship Pure One S12 Plus edition.
The version I purchased is graded below. It won’t have tools like the multi-angle adapter and flexible extension hose (I had to buy them separately with the soft roller brush).
Even without these tools, there is still a lot more From Dyson V10 or V11.
These tools include:
1. LED direct drive power brush: This is the standard Tineco floor cleaning attachment with soft, tough bristles that work best on carpets. It has four bright LED headlights that aid visibility.
2. Soft LED Cylindrical Electric Brush: A specialized tool for cleaning hard floors. Like the direct drive attachment, it also has a row of LED lights. Note that I purchased this attachment separately.
3. Soft Dust Brush: It has soft bristles that work well for cleaning delicate surfaces such as lamp shades or furniture.
4. 2-in-1 dusting brush: This attachment combines an upholstery and brush tool. It is an excellent tool for cleaning upholstery inside the home or car.
5. Slot tool: Perfect for cleaning tight spaces between seat cushions.
6. Flexible long slit tool: If you need more access, this tool can come in handy. It has a rubber attachment that you can use to extend the reach and flexibility to clean narrow crevices.
7. Small Turbo Brush: A smaller version of the main cleaning head provides enough agitation to clean built-in dirt on fabric upholstery (such as sofas, chairs, even mattresses) and stairs.
8. Pre-filter automatic cleaning tool: Another innovation from Tineco. This tool automatically cleans the motor pre-filter for you without having to remove it from the vacuum cleaner.
9. Pre-filter: There is a filter in the middle of the dust cup that traps fine allergens and prevents them from exiting the engine exhaust.
10. Double Wall Mounted Charging Dock: Possibly my favorite instrument of the group. It’s a wall-mountable charging dock that charges two batteries simultaneously! Not only that, but it offers storage space for three non-motorized accessories.
11. Two Lithium-Ion Batteries: This variant also comes with two Lithium-ion batteries which effectively doubles the run time to 100 minutes.
12. Flexible extension hose: Adds access and flexibility to any non-motorized tool. Great tool for cleaning vehicle interiors.
13: Multi-angle foldable adapter: A foldable tool that provides consumers with the ability to clean high areas without the use of a chair or ladder.
double filtration
On the left is the HEPA filter after the engine, and the one on the right is the primary filter.
This vacuum comes with two filters – a pre-motor HEPA filter and a post-motor HEPA filter that provide good sealing. The primary filter is similar to the Dyson filter in that it is made of fabric and is easy to clean.
However, cyclonic filtration is not As good as in Dyson Because it leaks faster.
Tineco has a tool that makes it easy to clean the filter. They call this the automatic pre-filter cleaning tool. It is a device that you attach to the vacuum unit that will absorb the debris that accumulates on the pre-engine filter.
Different Options for Pure One S12: S12 vs. S12 Plus vs. S12 M vs. S12 Lite
There are a total of four variants with the Pure One S12 divided into two categories.
The Pure One S12 and the Plus version are the top options that have the extension LED display and power adjustment latch. These two products are the same except for the attachments. While the other two options – S12 M and S12 Lite do not have LED display But it is much cheaper and has a chip with which you can connect a smartphone.
Please review the table below to see how different these forms and attachments you will receive.
how strong Tineco Pure One S12 You have?
To measure the power, I used an anemometer to measure the airflow from the wand and the main cleaning head. Know that there will be a margin of error on this test. The reason for this is to make it a point of reference for comparison with other brands that we may see correlation with cleaning performance, especially carpets.
Here are the results
air flow | Little | the above |
---|---|---|
a stick | 34 cubic feet per minute | 61.72 cubic feet per minute |
cleaning head | 27.95 cubic feet per minute | 50.71 cubic feet per minute |
It has more airflow than the Dyson V10 in both the wand and the main cleaning head and at approx. Dyson V11 engine level torque, And that’s a good reason it did so well in cleaning tests (more on that below).
How can the Tineco Pure One S12 Cleaning?
Thanks to the interchangeable tool set and the extension wand, the Pure One S12 can clean different areas. You can use it as a handheld or wand vacuum cleaner, whatever the need.
However, this product is designed to clean floors. The Plus version comes with two basic floor cleaning tools – the soft roller and the direct power brush.
Pure One S12 Plus comes with two floor cleaning attachments.
These tools are designed for cleaning hard floors and carpets, respectively. One feature I think this model has over any of the Dyson cordless vacuums (V6, V7, V8, V10, V11) is a row of bright LED lights that help illuminate the path in front of it.
If you have not used a vacuum cleaner with this feature, it is useful for keeping track of dirt.
The beauty of this design is the option to connect the floor tool directly to the vacuum unit, making it easier to clean stairs.
Both tools have the tube behind the rubber wheels, which sits at an angle so it doesn’t turn completely flat under the furniture. You’ll have to flip it sideways to do this, which can be awkward.
Removing the tube turns this vacuum into a hand-held unit.
All tools with the Pure One S12 have a quick-release latch that is easy to attach or remove, unlike the A10, where only suction tools have this latch and are held in place only by friction.
cleaning performance
To see how well the Tineco Pure One S12 performed, I ran a series of tests on various surfaces such as hardwood floors, low-pile carpeting, and middle ground carpet.
I used different debris to see how this cordless vacuum cleaner works, such as Quaker oats, coffee grounds, pet litter, and fruit rings.
I weigh the dust cup empty for all tests and then weigh it full to get the most accurate measurement possible in all of my cleaning tests.
Below are the official results of the cleaning test.
- Total: 99.17%
- Solid ground: 99.88%
- Carpet (pick up surface): 99.34%
- Carpet (deep cleaning): 98.3%
To be honest, I am really amazed with the results. One of the more impressive features of the Pure One S12 is how well it picks up debris.
You can feel the iLoop sensor working when it detects an increase in the amount of dirt passing through it. In all of my cleaning tests, the vacuum motor accelerated as it picked up scattered debris and then returned to its default setting afterwards.
hard floor results
- Quaker Oats: 99.9%
- coffee: 100%
- Quinoa: 99.93%
- pet litter: 99.7%
To test how this vacuum works on hard surfaces, I mainly used a soft roller brush.
He was great at picking up Quaker oats (1st photo), coffee (2nd photo), pet droppings (3rd photo) and quinoa (4th photo).
There were no issues with the soft roller attachment in the cleaning tests. I’ve also tested how the direct drive brush works on Quaker oats, and it did an excellent job of picking up nearly 100% of them on the hard floor.
I’ve also tested the soft roller tool on fruit rings, and it hasn’t had any clogging issues like Roidmy F8 or NEX was.
Some jammed behind the cylinder rod, about 4 to 5 pieces of fruit rings, which were picked up at the end.
However, the standard brush tool did not perform well with the fruit ring test as it did not have sufficient clearance. I pushed it forward.
Regardless of the surface, a direct drive will not be able to clean debris of this size.
I also tested the quinoa push-button to see how effective it was at small, hard debris and catching every 50g.
Regardless of Cheerios-sized dirt, the direct drive motor brush is an effective tool for small to medium stuff.
You don’t really need the soft roller attachment for most jobs on hard surfaces.
Sand test on hard floor
Another test I did on hard ground was the sand test. To see how well the Pure One S12 performs at cleaning sand, I dispersed 50 grams and did one test with the soft roller and one with my standard bristle brush.
Was able to capture a file With an average of 99.9% on two examsAlmost perfect result. The result was perfect with the soft roller attachment, so it’s another viable alternative if you live near the beach or a sandy area.
Edge cleaning
I also tested Tineco Pure One S12 Clean the edges by scattering pet droppings in the test area. It also has a quarter inch slit, so it works as a slit tester.
Please check the photo before and after.
The Tineco S12 is excellent at cleaning edges, with a standard brush roller being more efficient than a fine brush. It has a wider and larger brush, so it covers more area. There was a small amount of debris behind the brush.
carpet cleaning test
Next, let’s move on to carpet cleaning tests. For all reviews made in the Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Handbook, tests are performed on low and medium pile carpets.
A separate test is performed on fine, compact coffee residue on a medium-pile rug to see how well the vacuum cleaner can deep clean.
Low stack results
- Quaker Oats: 99.1%
- coffee: 100%
- Quinoa: 100%
- pet litter: 100%
The Pure One S12 scores slightly above the V10, which I tested a few months ago. It could be the increase in airflow or the design of the brush roll, but I’m really impressed with the results.
I love the direct-drive power brush seal in that it picked up just about everything in the front pass.
Green arrows indicate the seal.
I noticed when the iLoop sensor started up that it was a bit hard to push due to the increased suction, but at least the technology works!
Mid-stack results
- Quaker Oats: 96.7%
- coffee: 96.7%
- Quinoa: 99.9%
- pet litter: 99.6%
Despite scores slightly lower on a medium pile rug, this vacuum still scores high in the ’90s.
It scored higher than the Dyson V10 at cleaning up coffee grounds, but it got lower results with the Quaker Oats Test. The difference, however, is just a few percentage points so I don’t put too much weight on it.
deep cleaning test
The last test I did was a deep cleaning test where I rub 100g of sand on a medium pile rug to see how well the vacuum cleaner picks up the built-in dirt.
Finally, we’ll look at deep cleaning tests where I rub 100g of sand on a medium pile rug to see how well this broom picks up built-in debris.
There are two parts to this test. In the first test, I left it on auto mode How well the iLoop system has performed and has done well with an increase of 96.3% from sand. With the second test, I set it to max and it was Capable of capturing 99.3% On average of the two tests.
minimum
The Pure One S12 really shines when cleaning floors. It doesn’t matter if it’s hardwood or carpet – it gets the job done! If you want professional advice about wood cleaning surfaces Please click on this link for more information.
You can save money by going with Cheapest Pure One S12 (that’s without a plus) Because the torque motor brush is able to clean hard floors well.
The only problem I found with it was its inability to clean large debris like fruit rings. Plus, cleaning things like dust, ground coffee, or even quinoa won’t be a problem.
How long will you Tineco Pure One S12 He runs?
Out of the box, you get two 2500mAh Li-ion batteries which Tineco claims will last up to 100 minutes together.
I tested if this claim was valid by turning on the vacuum to empty it and using a digital timer to measure how long it runs.
Below are the test results with the basic floor tool and suction tools only.
adjust power | prefix meaning environment | the above |
---|---|---|
Non-motorized tools (eg slotting tool) | 51:21 min x 2 | 10:47 min x 2 |
torque motor power brush | 37:35 min x 2 | 10:10 min x 2 |
Even with the main cleaning head connected, this vacuum cleaner can work for up to 37 minutes 35 seconds at the lowest power setting And Up to 10 minutes at the highest setting. Using only suction tools, it will run for up to 51 minutes 21 seconds on eco mode and a maximum of 10 minutes 47 seconds.
Multiply these numbers by two – the Pure One S12 will turn on For up to 74 minutes at a minimum And 20 minutes at maximum setting With main cleaning head attached. And Up to 102 minutes on the low setting And 21 minutes at maximum setting Using a non-powered tool.
However, I did notice a slight drop in airflow as the battery was about to run out. But it didn’t affect how this vacuum cleaner works as I did some battery cleaning tests at 15%.
The batteries are removable, which makes it easy to replace if they fail.
How noisy a file Tineco Pure One S12 ?
I used a good old audio meter to measure the noise level of the Pure One S12 from about two feet away, and here are the results.
- Prefix meaning environment: 65.5 to 67.2 dB
- the above: 67.5 to 70.4 dB
Note that I measured it with the included brush roller, so you’ll know what to expect because you’ll be using this broom a lot with this included tool.
Dust cup capacity and design
According to the manual, the Pure One S12 It can hold up to 0.6 liters of dry dirtwhich is up to the maximum fill line.
It has a higher capacity than Dyson V8 with a capacity of 0.54 liters but less than Dyson V10 0.77L.
One downside to the Tineco Dust Cup is the lack of a sanitary system. This void only has a gravity trap door.
If you brush a lot of dust and pet hair, it will stick to the plastic parts of this vacuum cleaner and require the help of your fingers to remove.
Long hair can wrap around the metal shroud in the middle of the dirt box.
The good news is that the dust cup disintegrates easily. Just push the lever in front of the trigger (just below) to remove the dust cup.
Press the release latch to open the trap door, then twist the black plastic part to remove the filter assembly.
This is how a separate filter group looks.
The dust cup assembly cannot be washed because it has an iLoop sensor and electronic pins connected to the battery charger. The only part that can be washed is the filter assembly.
Make sure it is completely dry before returning it to the vacuum cleaner.
Smartphone app
The app will be one of the unique features of the Pure One S12. It is probably the only cordless vacuum cleaner that has this feature.
The application has several basic functions:
- battery condition: It tells you the battery status with real-time updates while using the vacuum cleaner.
- filter status: Informs users of the status of the filter. To be more specific, if it needs cleaning or should be replaced.
- adjust strength: This app has a slider that increases or decreases the amount of power. It’s similar to the slider on higher-end Pure One S12 models but more difficult to use, in my opinion.
- Number of cleaning cycles: The app also records how often you’ve used the vacuum cleaner, which you can sort by day, week or month.
Here are some screenshots of the app.
Two main functions of the app are informing users of filter status (middle) and power adjustment (right)
Yes, the Tineco app is linked to the YouTube app only if you need some entertainment while vacuuming.
It’s a pretty cool feature, but if you buy any of the Pure One S12 series vacuum cleaners with LED display, the information in there is redundant because the LED display will provide the same data. but she A must have for those planning to buy either of the two lower end options – The Pure One S12M or S12 M Lite Because both types have phone holder.
Installing the app is easy and straightforward, and I’ve summarized everything in this video just in case you need a reference.
It is a simple and easy to use application that responds to the basic features. Please let me know in the comments section if you have any issues installing the app.

Availability of spare parts
One of the issues with buying a vacuum from a lesser known or lesser known brand is the availability of parts. So far, for Tineco, that doesn’t seem to be an issue. Consumables such as filter. Battery, Attachments and Floor Tools Available on Amazon.
However, like the battery, some of these parts can be expensive, but replacement filters are affordable.

crescent moon Tineco Pure One S12 Offer good value?
while the Tineco Pure One S12 Not cheap, you will get a lot of value from it.
all variables Comes with two Li-ion batteries This will work for up to 102 minutes It is longer than any Dyson cordless vacuum to date including the V10 and V11 flagship variants. Since the battery runs out without the need for special tools, replacing it will not be a problem. However, the The current price of a replacement battery is very expensive.
The best-in-class Pure One S12 Plus also comes with two attachments for cleaning bare floors and carpets, respectively, and also comes with special tools like the hose and multi-angle attachment that help clean hard-to-reach areas.
in my opinion, You don’t really need a soft roller brush because a standard brush roller will do the job adequately on hard floors and carpets. The only thing that won’t clean is debris or the size of fruit rings or Cheerios.
Tineco has more tools than other brands like Shark and Dyson. It has more airflow than the Dyson V10 Absolute, so it was no surprise that it scored very high in most cleaning tests.
Unique LED display and an excellent tool that provides important information to the user.
Usability is another strong point as all tools have a quick-release latch, making it easy to attach and remove.
The only question left is which option is best suited to your needs? It will depend on your preference.
As for me, I would choose either option with an LED display because I don’t want to mess with a smartphone while vacuuming.
Verdict: On whom? Tineco Pure One S12 ?
Based on the tests, the Tineco Pure One S12 The Dyson V10 Absolute goes above and beyond when it comes to performance with more accessories available to you.
It has more power than the V10 and almost matches the Dyson V11. Cleaning performance is a strong point thanks to the ergonomically designed direct drive brush and soft barrel brush that eats dirt in its path. For me the torque motor attachment is sufficient for most cleaning tasks, So there is no need to buy the best S12 Plus phone.
The LED lights on both gadgets help enhance visibility and they are Not available on Dyson V10 and V11 or the LG CordZero. This feature makes it superior to these three models in the same price range.
6 reasons why you should buy Tineco Pure One S12
- Excellent cleaning performance: The Pure One S12 has excellent airflow, which translates to outstanding dirt pickup on floors and carpets.
- Lots of tools: The higher spec option will provide users with 14 attachments (if you include an extension wand) that will help people clean different parts of their homes.
- two batteries: It comes with two Li-ion batteries that last up to 102 minutes (more than the claimed 100 minutes).
- LED headlights: Both the soft roller and the direct drive have LED lights that help track dirt.
- Excellent build quality: This alternative is by far the best of all Tineco stick vacuums in regards to the quality of the plastic used and how easy it is to attach or remove tools.
- Deep cleans carpets: The Pure One S12’s 99% score in the deep cleaning tests surprised me.

This high-tech cordless vacuum cleaner works very well
The results of the Tineco Pure One S12 have amazed me. It scored high on most of the tests I did, especially cleaning different types of debris. This product scored in the high 90s in most cleaning tests, with the exception of the direct drive in the Fruit Loops test. Perhaps the biggest surprise to me was how it turned out in the Deep Clean test, where it scored an average of 99% in the two tests I took. Its uptime was on par with other cordless vacuums in its price range, but when you consider that it comes with two, it gets above average. Usability is also a strong point, particularly the charging base and the automatic function that adjusts power based on the amount of dirt passing through the sensor. Overall, I think the Tineco Pure One S12 is an excellent choice for people who are looking for a quality vacuum cleaner that works.
