I’ve done several tests for both robot vacuums, and here’s an overview of the results.

With proper maintenance, this part will last for years.
HEPA filter [Once or Twice a Year]
Roborock says HEPA filters are washable, but it doesn’t hurt to buy an extra so you have something to use while you wait for your dirty filter to dry completely.
A trick I like to do to extend the life of these filters is to use a handheld tool with a brush to clean up any dirt stuck on the creases.
The filters may need to be replaced once or twice a year. It will depend on how resistant the paper element is and the performance of the bot.

The electronic water tank that the S5 Max and S6 MaxV use has a filter that you need to replace occasionally, especially in areas where hard water comes out of the faucet.

For now, Roborock doesn’t sell replacement batteries for any of their robots, so it’s just waiting and watching.
