The Miele brand is synonymous with high quality thanks to its German roots.
So if you are looking for something with high quality and performance, the Miele C1 Capri is a great choice.
One downside to buying a Miele is the price. This variant will cost between $350 and $400.
But don’t let the high price discourage you from buying as it comes with a 7-year warranty on the motor and one year on parts and labor.
According to Millie, this will work great on hard surfaces like hardwood and linoleum as well as low to medium pile carpets but it can’t be cleaned deeply.

What do you expect from the Miele Classic C1 Capri?
One of the great features of the S2121 Capri is the power settings that allow you to use the right suction for a particular task.
Adjustable suction disc
There will be instances when you need less suction on things like carpet. If you have too much suction, the mat will stick to the cleaning head and you won’t be able to move it back and forth.
Thus, the suction adjustment option is useful for cleaning areas such as carpets.
In the package you will have 5 tools at your disposal. Two of them can be used on the floor. And the other three for the floor above the floor such as upholstery, ventilation holes, nooks and crannies and other.
An accessory comes with a rotating rod but is only propelled by air. Others have long natural bristles for cleaning hard wood surfaces. I must warn you though that there is a risk of scratching the hardwood if you use the brush attachment.
Other tools include a crevice, upholstery, and a brush with an adjustable nozzle.
This allows it to clean hard-to-reach areas such as ceiling fans.
The upholstery tool does not contain any motorized brush. But it has two strips of fabric on either side for excitement.
Attachments and accessories
This comes with a total of 5 – turbo brush, parquet floor tool, crevice tool, dusting brush and crevice tool.
The length of the power cord is not specified, but Mila says the cleaning radius is 29.5 feet, which means that from the end of the floor tool to the end of the power cord is 29.5 feet.
Since this vacuum cleaner is bagged, it won’t clean any filters but you will need to replace the bag at least once a month depending on how often you use the vacuum.
There is an indicator near the hose that turns red when the bag is full.
There is another filter in the engine and you will need to replace it once every 12 months.
You will have the option to use a HEPA filter here.
The last filter you need to replace is the dust chamber filter or engine pre-filter.

A quick look at the features and performance…
This comes with a 7-year warranty on the motor and case. But for parts and service, it only has one year warranty.
bare floor performance
It has two attachments that work great on both flat and bare floor surfaces. The laminate flooring tool has bristles that work well on exposed floor surfaces such as tile. Avoid using this tool on hardwood as it can scratch it.
You can use the Turbo Comfort brush to clean surfaces such as hardwood. One weakness is that it doesn’t spin, so maneuverability won’t be as good as the Dyson.
The low head will not do well on cutting large dirt like Cheerios. But to clean things like dust will work just fine.
Millie says the Turbo Brush will work best on low to medium pile carpets. Don’t expect this to deep clean carpets because the turbo brush doesn’t have its own motor. It is powered only by air like a Dyson overhead vacuum.
Using an upholstery and crevice tool, this will do a very decent job on different types of upholstery from fabric to leather.
The upholstery tool has two strips of fabric on either side of the upholstery tool (like Velcro) that act as an agitator to remove dirt that tends to stick to the fabric.
Cracks tool works great bulk dirt.
Note that this tool may not be effective with pet hair that tends to curl when this type of tool is used on it.
Pet hair removal
Since the turbo brush does not have a motorized brush, you will not be able to brush pet hair as deeply from the carpet. If you have a lot of pets, you may have to opt for a solid stand-up device like the Dyson DC65. You can check out our guide to the best pet hair vacuums if you need to.
An upholstery tool will also not be effective because it does not have a whisker tape.

What do consumers say?
Most of the people who bought this broom gave it a 5 star rating because it has very good build quality and great suction power.
No motorized brush
The biggest downside is the beater bar that doesn’t have a motor. Since only air circulates in the brush, stirring will not be good. He will have difficulty catching the hair on the rug or rug. This also hinders its ability to deep clean.
While there are consumers who were quite happy with its performance on carpet, they did not specify whether their carpet was thin, medium or high.
HEPA filter improves performance
Consumers also report that switching to a HEPA filter improves performance and filtration. It was noticeable because you wouldn’t smell the odor emanating from the exhaust.
Adjustable suction is a good feature
People also like that this is fairly quiet. This is due to the knob that allows users to adjust the suction power, the lower the setting, the less noise.
The adjustable suction has another benefit – the carpet will not stick to the nozzle due to excessive suction, I have come across consumers who have appreciated this.
Some potential issues
There are 3 swivel wheels under the chassis that allow it to operate the dime. But despite this, there are some complaints about it tipping over when pulled hard.
Enough with the pluses here are some of the complaints that consumers shared in their reviews …
The hose looks cheap and will break because you are too tough to handle.
There are also some complaints about the telescopic stick breaking after a few months.
If you’re concerned about how much this vacuum cleaner will cost to run, expect to spend about $19 a month, that’s the current price for a bag that you’ll need to change at least once a month — it’s not cheap.
While the suction is very good, it lacks a motorized brush to make it an effective deep cleaner on carpets, so if your home has wall-to-wall carpeting, it’s best to buy a motorized brush vacuum cleaner.
Where can I buy this?

Other options include the Miele C1 Turbo Team that comes with the same floor kits as this variant. This option will be more expensive at $400.
The cheaper C1 Pure Suction is also available on Amazon for a few hundred dollars less but is only suitable for bare floors because it does not have a motorized brush.
This vacuum cleaner would be great in homes that mostly have hardwood and tile surfaces because floor attachments are included. It has enough suction power to clean flat and smooth surfaces even without a brush roller.
A parquet tool will work great, especially on tiled surfaces where dirt tends to build up on the grout area.
It will not be effective on carpets because the motorized brush does not have its own motor and does not have a belt, it only spins when there is suction, so don’t expect a deep clean from this.
Below the case are 3 movable wheels that allow it to run a dime without tipping over.
According to consumers, the telescopic stick extends up to 12 feet which allows it to reach the ceilings of most homes, unless it’s a really high ceiling.
It has all the standard attachments that allow it to clean over floor areas such as tables, vents and upholstery but at an excellent price.
The biggest drop would be the price, at around $400 I’m expecting more from this although it’s probably from Miele a motorized brush floor tool that cleans carpet deeply but unfortunately doesn’t have that.
If you don’t mind this limitation and want a quality vacuum cleaner for your home with mostly bare floor surfaces, then look no further.
