Infinuvo is a relatively unknown brand compared to more popular brands like iRobot and Neato but it has offered unique features that deserve a long closer look.
One such feature is the UV tube which they claim provides disinfection.
In terms of price, it is one of the more affordable robotic vacuums under $150 but lacks many key features like scheduling and navigation.
Let’s take a closer look at this and see if it’s one of those “diamond in the rough” products that will outperform its price point.

What do you expect from the Infinuvo CleanMate QQ-2 Basic?
The Infinuvo CleanMate QQ-2 does not have a long list of features. It’s a very basic broom that will work mostly on hard surfaces.
One unique feature, though, is the Ultra Violet tube which they claim can kill bacteria and allergens – if it works as advertised it’s good news for allergy sufferers.
- Comes with 5 pre-programmed patterns
- The manufacturer claims that the UV light underneath will disinfect and kill germs, allergens and bacteria while cleaning
- Will work on hardwood, tile, linoleum, and low-pile carpet
- Runtime 80 minutes from a 3-hour charge
- Side brushes help pick up dirt from the edges
- remote control
- Can remove unpleasant odors by using the fragrance formula

Mobility
The base QQ-2 comes with 5 pre-programmed patterns – special bouncing, sidewall spiral, s shape, and polygonal spiral patterns.
Also you can adjust patterns frequently, eg you can program them to start from wall side pattern and move to spiral pattern etc.
One downside to this pre-programmed feature is that it’s not flexible enough to clean oddly shaped rooms because it doesn’t have the navigation software or sensors found in iRobot or Neato that will paint a room.
It comes with an arrow remote control where you can control where you go – like an RC car :D.
Since it does not have a charging base, once the battery is exhausted, it exits dark areas and stops in a lighted area.
This means that if the mixture is low and under the furniture, it will come back out so you don’t need to look for it.
Remember, before using it to remove all potential obstacles that could get in your way, including carpets.
Will he clean the stairs?
No, it does not have this feature.
scheduled cleaning
It is not available in this form.
Shipping time
Manual stats have a charging time of around 3 hours, although some consumers report that it took around 3.5 hours – not much of a difference.
Filter cleaning
Both filter and dirt tray are washable. Always check the filter visually after each use if it needs cleaning.
If you don’t have time to wait for the filter to dry, use compressed air to clean.
the show length
The manual says it will give you about 80 minutes per 3 hour charge.
Customer Service and Warranty
Amazon doesn’t currently have any of these bots (only through 3research and development party retailers).
You will have to view the seller’s return policy here. If purchased directly from Infinuvo, it comes with 1 year warranty on the robot and 6 months on the battery.
Executing floor cleaning
This robot will work best on the open ground. Side brush helps clean edges and gentle dust from baseboards.
The motorized brush works well at picking up smaller dust and debris, but it doesn’t have enough power to pick up heavy objects though.
Carpet cleaning
Do not use this on medium to plush carpets because it does not have enough power and the brushes are not stiff enough to pick up dirt from this surface.
carpets
It is not designed to clean mild to truly plush carpets, but will only work on delicate carpets. Careful with the tassels, they can get stuck to the motorized brush.
Although some consumers have stated that it can get stuck to the edges and won’t pick up lint. Infinuvo recommends folding the edges of the carpet so that the robot does not get stuck.
Pet hair removal
Since it has a brush roll, it will pick up pet hair but since the brush is not hard, it won’t do as well at brushing pet hair on the carpet as it does on hard floors. Pet owners were among the satisfied customers, so I did well on non-carpeted floors.

Customer Reviews
Currently, only 29 people have left a review on Amazon and the majority were very satisfied with the cleaning performance on hard floors as it was primarily used.
Consumers have commented on how it picks up dust and pet hair, but some have warned that it can’t pick up larger debris than dust due to a lack of power.
Pet owners were among the satisfied consumers and were very happy with how they clean their pet hair.
Although the brush needs to be cleaned regularly so as not to get stuck, fortunately it is easy to remove and clean.
Complaints were about not being able to pick up dirt on the carpet, getting stuck under furniture and the edges of the mats.
But to be fair with the Infinuvo, they did mention that it’s only designed for thinner carpets and mentioned in the manual folding the carpet before turning on the robot.
There isn’t a lot of comment about UV light supposedly killing bacteria, and one consumer said it was a gimmick because UV light takes 15 seconds to affect bacteria, which is controversial.
Where can I buy this?
One of the best online stores to get this is Amazon – just under $120.
Conclusion
This is a basic vacuuming robot for light jobs on hard floors and a small to medium sized room and would be ideal for people who want a robot vacuum but can’t afford high-end brands like iRobot, Neato or LG.
Note that it does not have a sophisticated navigation system and does not have a charging dock, what it contains are 5 pre-programmed patterns that can be set repeatedly one by one depending on the size of your room.
You can also manually control the place of cleaning using the remote control.
At under $150, it’s one of the cheapest robot cleaners you can find on the market with basic functionality, so if you’re not picky and want some help with small cleanups, this might be the product for you.
