One of my best friends is a pet lover, and she has about three dogs.
She’s all shedding a ton, plus she’s asthmatic.
Not a good mix.
When shedding season comes around, and you’re having asthma attacks, it’s no fun.
If you like her, right Buy Neato Or this mighty moth lover of pets This is much cheaper?
I’d only buy the former if I had an extra $500 to spend, but for folks looking for a bargain, the 3684F Might Mite would do the trick.
It has a wider cleaning path at 11 compared to 10 from the 3670G, and comes with a “Pet Power Paw” attachment – essentially a small tool with a motorized brush that comes in handy when brushing pet hair on upholstery and stairs.
However, the floor tool is still not equipped with a brush roller, so this is a minus point.
- Weighs just under 9 lbs
- HEPA filter prevents nearly all allergens from coming back in
- The telescopic stick is long enough to reach the ceiling
- The bag is designed to reduce odor from pet hair
- Contains a powerful ‘pet claw’ attachment that treats pet hair on upholstery and stairs
- It has an 11 degree wider cleaning path compared to Eureka 3670G
- The floor tool does not have a motorized brush
- HEPA bags add to operating cost
- Some question marks regarding the quality of the hose installation
- No rewind wire
- No storage for stick and floor tool
What do you expect from this lightweight purple tin?
Almost every aspect of this vacuum cleaner has been designed with pet hair removal in mind.
First, it comes with a so-called ‘Pet Power Paw’ which is equipped with a motorized brush that picks up pet hair on stairs and upholstery.
Unfortunately, the floor tool is not equipped with a paddle bar, so brushing pet hair on the carpet would be a bit tedious.
It weighs only 8.6 pounds, so you won’t have any trouble moving it around, essentially cleaning stairs.
The lack of a shoulder strap is a trick to me as this should free up your other hand to control the attachments in tight areas.
Here is the full list of features:
- The floor tool has an 11 inch cleaning path
- Attachments include the Pet Power Paw tool, crevice tool and brush/upholstery tool set
- Telescopic stick extends up to 55 inches
- It has a place to store the cord under the case
- 20ft power cord (no return feature)
- 12 amp motor
- Uses dust bags that remove odors from the lever and hammer that prevent odor buildup
- Equipped with a HEPA filter that prevents 99.97% of allergens from going back out
bare floor performance
This will work best on exposed floor surfaces because the 12 amp motor produces the right amount of suction.
The floor tool does not have any motorized brushes, so this will totally rely on suction to get the job done.
It will do a great job on all kinds of debris as long as it fits in the hole, but avoid using this on sawdust because it will clog the bag very quickly.
An empty shop would be a better choice for sawdust. please check My article on cleaning filters vacant shop Just in case you possess such a void.
The telescopic wand is adjustable, so cleaning stairs shouldn’t be difficult with a floor tool or any of the accessories.
Since this model doesn’t have a beater bar (I wish Eureka came with one), performance on the carpet suffers.
If you use a floor tool, this will be limited to cleaning surface dirt on delicate carpets. Using a pet’s paw tool helps a bit, but it won’t cover many areas and will be excellent for spot-cleaning.
Pet hair removal
The Mighty Mite 3684F uses an attachment called the Power Paw to pick up pet hair on upholstery, and based on the reviews, it has done an excellent job.
It is not wide, being about 3 to 4 inches wide. This tool has a motorized brush that makes it very effective.
You can also use this to clean carpeted stairs and carpet floors, but with the latter, it would be better to use it as a stain cleaner due to the narrow cleaning path.
Attachments and accessories
This one comes with three tools.
The power cord is approximately 20 feet long and can be stored using a cord wrap under the case.
It doesn’t have any wire to rewind, which is deceptive, but adding this feature means a heavier vacuum.
This vacuum cleaner comes with a HEPA filter that prevents 99.97% of allergens from coming back in.
It is located behind the cyst and is accessible after removal.
Comes with a one year warranty.

Consumers who purchased this were pleased with the performance on hardwood floors and upholstery.
Someone even said that the suction was similar to the more expensive Miele broom.
Cleaning pet hair from upholstery was one of the strong points of this product thanks to the Power Paw attachment.
A lot of people who left reviews own different types of pets and were satisfied with how this small enclosure cleans all kinds of messes that their pets left behind.
The telescopic wand is another popular feature that allowed consumers to reach high places such as cleaning cobwebs from the ceiling or air vents.
People love the HEPA filter that has helped prevent allergens from reappearing, which is great for asthma sufferers or people with any form of respiratory illness, but there have been complaints that it doesn’t work as well as it should.
Someone went so far as to say the air bypassed the HEPA filter! But this could be a lemon unit.
Most of the people who bought it used it on hard surfaces and the few who tried it on carpet said it didn’t work well with the floor attachment because it doesn’t have any motorized brush.
The vent near the handle of the vacuum cleaner that controls the suction power causes some problems for consumers – they said it’s easy to turn and open accidentally.
I’ve used these types of vented brooms. You’ll need to figure out a way to grab it without turning the knob covering the air hole, and it’ll take a little getting used to.
There were also complaints that the flexible plastic hose is brittle and easy to break, although it only comes from a few reviews; It is something to look for when purchasing this.
Another complaint is the loudness, but this is typical of small brooms.
In general, consumers liked the way it handled pet hair on upholstery and carpeting, but there were concerns about the hose’s low quality.
It’s no surprise considering the price point of this vacuum.
Where can I buy this?

This overhead vacuum cleaner is great for people with carpets who own homes with mostly bare floor surfaces because it has a pet hair cleaner for upholstery, but the floor tool doesn’t come with a beater rod necessary to tackle this.
It’s a no-nonsense cleaner that will do the job based on the reviews, but the quality of the plastic hose matters to me, though, with many consumers complaining that it’s brittle and easy to break.
Also, you can’t use this cleaner as your main carpet cleaner because it’s not equipped to do that, you can do it in small areas, but for homes with wall-to-wall carpeting, you won’t be able to do the job.
Remember, this is a bagged vacuum cleaner, so you’ll have to buy the bags and keep some in reserve, but the good news is that the bags cost less than a dollar a piece, so it’s not a huge cost. Please check my article Comparison of a bagless broom without a bag I have an online calculator that helps you calculate the accrued costs of bags.
People with back problems will love this as it weighs only 8.6 pounds, half of what is usual upright Weigh.
