Our home has a mix of linoleum, hardwood, bare floors and tiled surface.
So I will need something lightweight that I can move around.
Meanwhile, it has good suction to pick up dust, cobwebs and dust bunnies that seem to build up after a few days.
The Eureka 3670G is a great choice for homes like ours because it weighs only 8.6 pounds and has a really long extension stick that is well accessible, enough to reach the ceiling if your home doesn’t have a high ceiling.
This is huge because, instead of buying a separate vacuum for it, you’ll be able to save your money and use it instead.
This is a bag-packed vacuum cleaner, so you’ll have to buy extra bags and that’s an extra running expense in the long run.
These purpose-made bags will cost less than $1 per bag, so it’s not really that expensive.
Eureka recommends this for homes with mostly bare surfaces as this does not have any motorized brush roll, if you are looking for something to suit pet hair and carpet – Mighty Mite Pet Lover 3684F.

What do you expect from the Eureka 3670G Mighty Mite?
This lightweight enclosure is slightly aerodynamic on hard surfaces thanks to the powerful 12A motor that has enough suction to pick up dust, dust mites, pet hair, pet litter, woodland and more.
It does not contain any motorized brush, so it is not suitable for carpets or velvet rugs.
Reach is another strong point with its removable extender wand that gives you the flexibility to adjust the length depending on the area you want to clean.
Not only will it clean floors that also have upholstery, vents, and other hard-to-reach areas that the vacuum cleaner will encounter.
Note: This does not have a HEPA filter but can be purchased separately or get the 3684F which already has a HEPA filter built in.
Attachments and attachments
It comes with a crevice along with a built in brush/upholstery tool. They can be used in conjunction with extension sticks that will help you clean boards without bending or bending on all fours.
The extension wand is also long enough to clean cobwebs from the ceiling.
If your home has a ceiling vent, this vacuum cleaner is ideal for removing dust that has accumulated in it.
The power cord is about 20 feet long but does not have any cord winding function but it does have a cord wrap area where you can neatly store the cord.
Even if this is a packaged vacuum cleaner, it has another engine filter that keeps allergens out of the exhaust.
To access the filter, push a lever to open the canister.
Remove the bag to access the washable filter.
Don’t worry too much about the price of the bag, if you buy it on Amazon, a set of 9 will cost just over $8. That’s less than $1 per bag.
Comes with only one year manufacturer’s warranty.
Watch it in action
bare floor performance
The 3670G Might Mite will excel on bare floor surfaces especially hardwood, linoleum and tiled finishes due to its suction power that can be adjusted with a ring like know near the handle.
This is a very old technique of adjusting suction – to get maximum suction you will have to scroll over the entire small round hole, to reduce suction, and turn the knowledge slightly to expose part of the hole.
This is rude and sometimes you might accidentally close the loop which is what happened to many consumers who left a review.
If you ask me, I will keep the hatch closed and opt for maximum power all the way through.
The lack of a motorized brush roller will limit the performance of the rug. You will be able to clean a flat, thin rug.
You’ll struggle with anything thicker, and you’ll be better off with the pet hair version of this vacuum cleaner – 3684F that comes with a motorized brush.
Consumers who have tried this on the carpet have not been too happy with the performance.
Someone tried it on the carpet and you need to go back and forth 10 times before seeing any satisfactory results. Some have had success with throw rugs, but they will only work on delicate rugs.
Pet hair removal
Again, this will only work on pet hair on hard surfaces. It will struggle with upholstery and carpeting because it does not have any striking rod.
The combination brush/upholstery brush tool can pick up pet hair on chairs and sofas but will not be effective.

What do consumers say?
Over a thousand people have left reviews on Amazon alone.
Consumers loved the versatility and suction power of this little beast that carried a ton. Some have even had it for years and said it still works well despite all the bumps and falls.
The tool and wand interchangeability allows this broom to clean floors and stairs without bending over.
Extension rods are long enough to reach the ceiling, but if you have a big house with really high ceilings, they won’t be long enough.
Rotation feature is also popular
Another feature popular with consumers is the swivel floor tool that helped people move it around the furniture.
You will not see this feature in vacuum cleaners in this price range.
Many people use this on bare floor surfaces such as hardwood, tile, and linoleum. But there were a few who tried it on the carpet and the results were mixed.
Not a deep cleaning machine
On a medium to thick pile rug, this will struggle to pick up dirt embedded under the threads.
But on carpets or rugs with a fine pile, it will pick up at least surface dirt. However, don’t expect to deep clean it as it doesn’t have any brushes.
This is a great vacuum
Since this is a small vacuum, expect it to be loud and consumers have confirmed it. And the plastic hose and attachments don’t snap or lock in place.
It relies on friction to keep it connected. This is a slight long-term concern because these attachments can cause a crack.
The ring/lever that controls the suction force also causes problems for some people.
Some said it was flimsy and could easily be pulled out of place because it was located near the handle.
This may also be responsible for the lack of suction some consumers have complained about.
Despite the negative reviews, this is still a good performing budget vacuum that will have its quirks, just be sure to turn it on immediately after you get it to see if the suction performance is up to par.
Where can I buy this?
You can buy this lightweight broom for about $60 on Amazon. And you’ll be eligible for free 2-day shipping if you join Prime. They also sell extended warranties (up to 3 years) if you want that extra peace of mind.
This product would be great for small to medium sized homes with mostly hard roofs due to the powerful 12A motor that literally sucks up debris.
The lack of a motorized brush spoiled its performance on carpets but it could still clean surface dirt from accumulated thinners.
Why then should you consider this if it only works on exposed surfaces?
Because it is such a versatile machine, it is one of the few drum vacuum cleaners that are effective on flat surfaces, stairs and ceilings!
If your home has a ceiling fan or vent, you’ll appreciate the long reach.
Any homeowner will tell you how difficult it is to remove dust from vents and cobwebs in the ceiling.
All tools that come with this machine are interchangeable. You can attach it to a stick or hose which helps a lot in terms of flexibility.
Viola! You can clean the panels without bending or going over all fours. Great for people with back pain.
