Considering most of the vacuum cleaners sold in the market today, you have to be really smart about choosing one.
While some have a turbo brush, a deep cleaning of medium to high pile carpets may not be sufficient.
The turbo brush is a brush that moves carpets and allows vacuums to deeply clean carpets.
These belts usually only contain belts that draw power from a vacuum motor.
UltraActive DeepClean from Electrolux takes this into account. Instead of using air, the floor tool has its own motor that makes the brush stroke more powerful which means deeper cleaning power.
This is why the floor tool is noticeably larger, let’s say the DC39 due to the presence of a motor inside.
It has another side benefit, as it will be able to stand on its own due to the heaviness.

What do you expect from Electrolux UltraActive DeepClean EL4300B?
The feature that separates this from other housings is the motor inside the floor tool.
This allows it to pick up more dirt from a thicker pile rug than a canister equipped only with a turbo brush.
It doesn’t have the Dyson’s ball feature but it spins, so maneuverability shouldn’t be an issue here.
The motor is quite powerful at 12 amps, so there will be enough suction power.
It also comes with a crevice, dusting brush and turbo brush for cleaning upholstery making it a great all-around cleaner with wall-to-wall carpets.
Attachments and accessories
This comes with four – a crevice tool, a dusting brush, a small turbo brush, upholstery and a hardwood floor. The upholstery tool and mini turbo brush are separate attachments.
The mini turbo brush has a brush roller inside that will work great on things like pet hair on upholstery. The upholstery tool does not have any rotating brush and uses a tape of Velcro as a material to move any dirt on the road.
rope length
The power cord is 21 feet high and has a rewindable cord.
Filter cleaning
There are two filters in this space. The main filter is a foam that needs to be washed frequently (at least once a week). Another filter is HEPA that is not washable. You will need to replace this once every 6 months to a year.
You can find the main foam filter inside the dust cup.

Guarantee
Electrolux will give consumers a 5-year warranty on parts and service.
bare floor performance
The bare floor performance should be more than adequate with a hard floor tool. But there are complaints by consumers about poor performance using this facility.
You can also use the main floor attachment with a motorized brush if you don’t want to remove it.
It features a brush on/off feature, so it won’t scratch hardwood or linoleum if that’s a concern.
carpet performance
Having a floor tool powered by its own motor has a lot of advantages.
First, the motorized brush rotates faster. This equates to better pickup power and when you combine that with powerful suction power, what you get is a powerful carpet cleaner.
Watch these two videos to get a better understanding of what I’m talking about.
YouTuber FantomLightning compares this to the Dyson DC39 Animal.
First he cleans a low lint rug first with DC39 and then Electrolux…
In this video, he first cleans a medium to deep pile rug with Dyson DC39 Animal and then follows up with Electrolux.
The results were quite surprising considering that the Dyson is the most expensive device.
upholstery performance
This comes with a small turbo brush which is basically a small floor tool that you can use to clean pet hair from upholstery.
Pet hair owners will appreciate this tool. This can also be used on stairs if the main floor extension is too large.
It also comes with a crevice and dusting brush. Both are great tools for picking up loose dirt from most types of upholstery from fabric to leather.
Pet hair removal
Whether on carpets, hard floors or upholstery, this broom is well equipped to pick up pet hair from low pile to plush carpet thanks to its motorized floor head.
Cleaning pet hair on upholstery shouldn’t be a problem with the small turbo brush.
Note that you will have to clean both brushes to maintain cleaning performance over time.

What do consumers say?
In terms of cleaning performance, the majority of consumers who bought this liked how this broom performed.
He was able to remove all kinds of dirt, pet hair and sticky substances from carpets with thick pile. And if you watched the two videos I shared with you above, it still picked up dirt even after using a Dyson to clean the same area.
Hard floor facility is not good
Although the hard floor tool attachment was disappointing on hard surfaces as consumers complained about its tendency to push dirt around. But remember that you can use the main floor attachment and the brush roller off if you are concerned about scratches.
Despite this, one consumer mentioned that you should clean the main filter regularly so that cleaning performance does not deteriorate.
Quality issue
In terms of quality, most users say it’s powerful enough for daily cleaning. But there are some complaints about the plastic parts, especially the telescopic that will want to break if you’re not careful.
This comes with a 5 year warranty so if anything happens during that time Electrolux must replace those parts under warranty.
The ergoshock plastic shock absorber that doubles as a wire coil did not get good reviews because it tended to move out of place when picking up the broom.
Not as maneuverable as Dyson
Compared to the Dyson, pulling was a little trickier. And the dime will not run because it lacks ball technique.
Consumers were generally happy with how this overhead vacuum cleaner performed on floors and carpets. Yes, there are complaints about defective units but this is the norm in consumer electronics. There will be a small percentage coming out like a lemon. This is why we have guarantees.
Where can I buy this?
You can buy this vacuum cleaner on Amazon for less than $450. But it is not eligible for free 2-day Amazon shipping.
Amazon sells extended warranties of up to 3 years if you want that extra peace of mind.
to finish
This overhead vacuum cleaner is great for small to medium homes with wall-to-wall carpeting. It comes with a motorized brush that allows it to deeply clean carpets.
Combine that with the suction power from a 12 amp motor. And you have a very good deep cleaning machine that actually costs less than a Dyson can. It still comes with the same 5-year warranty, so that’s a great deal.
It has a HEPA filter, so in theory it would be great for allergy sufferers. But remember that this uses a bagless system which means you will be exposed to dust when emptying this system.
Although it has a hard floor attachment, it is best to use the main attachment to clean hard surfaces as well because there are complaints about the ineffectiveness of this tool on bare floors.
The power cord will be long enough for most homes unless you own a very large 5,000 square foot mansion with a very high ceiling. And if you do, you will probably be rich enough to hire a house helper to clean your house for you but that’s another story.
This one is also capable of cleaning above the floor thanks to the telescopic wand, 6-foot hose and tool kit that includes crevice, dusting brush, mini turbo brush and upholstery tool.
