Shop for a robotic mop now and you’ll have to spend between $170 and $250 to buy a Braava.
If you want to pair that with Roomba, you’ll have to pay at least an extra $300++.
The good news is that you don’t need to spend nearly $500 on a robotic vacuum cleaner and mop.
With the Deik vacuum cleaner and robotic mop, you don’t have to spend a lot. The price drops to just under $180.
It has a robotic vacuum and mop so it combines the functionality of Roomba and Braava in one package for so much less. But there is one caveat – don’t expect it to scan like a Braava device.
In terms of performance, this shouldn’t be far behind the Roomba plus it uses a gyroscope sensor which means it will be more efficient.

What do you expect from Deik robot cleaner?
Before continuing, please watch this video to see what’s inside the box and what it looks like…
This robot has a nice black finish that Deik says is scratch-resistant thanks to the tempered glass. The only thing that separates this from the Roomba 650 is the gyroscopic navigation that makes it more efficient.
But the big question is accuracy. Will this robot clean well enough or is it too efficient for its own good. I have tested several vacuums with a similar navigation system – Liectroux B6009 and Haier Xshuai T370 and they both have the same problem of efficiency and lack of accuracy.
top view
This robot is beautiful on the top thanks to its satin black color and gray accents. There are only two buttons – the clean button which switches the default cleaning mode and the home button which tells the robot to return to the charging base.
Deik also added a graphic where it is pressed to open the upper door which is a nice aesthetic touch.
View from the bottom
Below you will see two side brushes and a motorized brush in the middle. The mop holder can be installed on the back so you can use it to dry the mop along with the vacuum cleaner if you want to clean the dust. This is in addition to the wet-wipe functionality that this robot brings to the table.
Two in one job
This robot has two functions – a robotic vacuum cleaner and a mop. Deik says it’s a 3-in-1 but it’s actually just a 2-in-1 mopping and vacuuming machine.
Put in the dirt bin and the vacuum motor will run. And if you connect the water tank, the vacuum motor will turn off. Unfortunately, this robot will wipe in the same way as vacuum cleaners that move back and forth.
It doesn’t rub the floor the way the iRobot Braava does. So don’t expect this machine to remove any stains. However, it will do a good maintenance wipe on a relatively clean floor.
gyro sensor
Unlike the iRobot 800 or ILIFE series, the Deik uses a gyroscope sensor that makes a predictable back and forth motion on the ground similar to Neato and Xiaomi. But it does not contain the SLAM algorithm or the laser-guided sensor.
It will only go around the room once – the interior of the room first then clean the edges and then back to the charging station.
In terms of efficiency, Deik scores high but suffers a bit in terms of accuracy.
Big Dirt Basket
One of the best features of this robot is the large dirt container that can hold up to 0.65 liters of dry dirt. When you compare this to other bots in the same price range it is great. For example, ILIFE A6 can hold only 0.3 liters of dirt and Xiaomi only 0.5 liters, so you will have to empty it less often.
5 ways to clean
Deik Robot Vacuum Cleaner has 5 cleaning modes:
- Auto cleaning mode
- Spot cleaning
- follow wall
- Turbo Boost cleaning
- scheduling
Upgraded Sensors
Deik says they have upgraded the collision sensors to help it avoid hitting objects hard. This robot for the most part will not scuff furniture.
A great option if that interests you.
Battery and runtime
Deik used a lithium-ion battery for this robot and it will run for a maximum of 90 minutes. Charging will take about 4 to 5 hours.
The uptime numbers are record but still lagging behind its competitors ILIFE A6, Xiaomi and Alfawise X5.
What’s in the box?
- robot vacuum
- remote control
- Charging base and adapter
- 4 side brushes
- 1 HEPA filter
- 2 microfiber mops
- 1 dust basket
- Water tank

- User’s Manual
Floor cleaning
This robot will work best on bare floor surfaces thanks to the soft bristles that work great on dusting. As with robotic cleaners with two side brushes, it should be able to reach all the way to the edges.
My concern is the gyroscopic sensor because products with this type of navigation tend to be very efficient. This means that he will wander around the room at once and may miss places here and there.
Deik is a good option if you are more interested in efficiency and being able to clean multiple rooms well.
Robots like ILIFE or earlier series Roombas that use infrared sensors are more comprehensive because they continue the cleaning cycle until the battery runs low and then go back to the charging station.
Gyroscopic sensing robots like Deik use more advanced algorithms as they will return to the charging station once they have finished cleaning the room.
Carpet cleaning
One of the downsides to using soft bristles is the lack of Irritation you will save on the carpet. This will limit cleaning of low-pile carpets, but don’t expect them to be cleaned deeply.
It will only clean surface dirt. And if you run this on a heavily piled carpet, it will slow down until it stops.
Even if it can’t deep clean, this robot will go under the areas the straight shaft can’t reach. If you have a large king size bed, this robot can move under it, cleaning areas and picking up surface dirt at least as long as it fits.
Cleansing
Check out the video below on how to use the scanning feature.
There are actually two wiping modes – one for tile and one for hardwood. When tile laying is on, more water flows down.
What do consumers say?
This robot has a lot of positive reviews on Amazon.
What consumers love about this robot is its relatively low price when compared to iRobot or Neato. The cleaning performance is pretty decent if you base it on the reviews.
This is from a relatively large sample size of over 200 reviews.
Consumers have used this on a variety of floors such as tile, hardwood, and carpet. Regardless of the surface, they were very pleased with the way this product performed in cleaning pet dander, hair, and all kinds of dirt.
The 1200Pa suction does not make much noise compared to something more powerful like Neato or Xiaomi. But this is at the expense of cleaning performance on the carpet.
This robot is only 3.4 inches long, and a lot of furniture can cover it. Once again, consumers are impressed by this additional advantage that a robot vacuum provides.
There may be some issues with the wiping feature such as streaks because the water will constantly drip onto the microfiber towel regardless of whether the robot is moving or not. So there is a risk that you will leave behind a huge pool of water.
Another problem is the risk of getting caught between the legs of the chair or not finding its main base.
There are other annoying issues like it taking too long to fully charge and some complaints about it not holding a charge after a few months. But for most consumers, the ownership experience has been mostly positive.
The 15-month warranty gives you some peace of mind that you can send this in again if something goes wrong. You can extend the warranty for two or three years plus 15 months if you buy this on Amazon.

Where can I buy this?
The best place to buy this would be on Amazon and it costs less than $200. Why Amazon? There are two reasons. The first will be the option to purchase the Extended Warranty and the second will be free 2-day shipping from Amazon Prime.
to finish
This robot is a great option if it’s a Xiaomi or Roomba 650 but don’t expect the same performance. While consumers say the performance is great, there are some quirks.
The gyroscopic navigation system is effective but may not be as comprehensive as ILIFE.
There are also reports that it was lost or hung under chairs. You should understand that this is a problem with a lot of robot vacuums, so remove any chairs from the area you are cleaning for a more thorough cleaning.
There is a wipe feature but there have been complaints about streaks when the water tank is left open for too long. Again, if you’re using this as a mop, don’t use it on hardwood, just on tile and do small areas at a time.
At just under $200, this is another great budget option for homes with bare flooring or low-pile carpeting. Don’t expect to perform a deep cleaning because it doesn’t have enough power to do so.
