In my previous VonHaus 2-in-1 review, I talked about a wired vacuum cleaner that sounds like cordless.
This time around, VonHaus has finally developed something without wire.
At first glance you thought it was Electrolux Ergorapido. This is because they both have the same design. Put a handheld vacuum cleaner in a stick vacuum container and label it 2-in-1.
While this scores points for versatility, the suction power suffers.
When compared to the class-leading Dyson, suction is still missing as evidenced by its 20W power output.
Compare that to a Dyson V6 which produces 28 watts of air (100 max), the suction is a bit lacking. So the best use of this broom is for quick cleaning, yes even on floors.

What do you expect from the wireless VonHaus 2-in-1?
Much like the Electrolux Ergorapido, this broom is essentially a handheld vacuum cleaner attached to a stick casing.
This makes this a versatile product but at the cost of strength. And since you’re only using a handheld device, expect portable-type capacity in terms of the amount of dirt it can hold.
In this case, expect a dirt capacity of only 0.5 liters which is not a huge amount. This means that this device is not designed for cleaning large areas but for cleaning small areas only as a spot cleaner, even on floors.
In terms of suction power, it is good but not strong. VonHaus says it has about 20 air watts of suction power. That’s about 8 less than the Dyson V6 and 20 less than the new Black + Decker BDH3600 series.
So VonHaus has a lot of catching up to do if it wants to compete with the big ones.
But remember that the above products cost 3-4 times more, so this product gives consumers a budget alternative.
bare floor performance
Based on the reviews I’ve read, this product will work best on smooth surfaces like linoleum and hardwood but only small tampers.
You’ll struggle to pick up a big mess because it simply lacks the suction power to do so.
If you have some pets, this may work to clean up cat litter and possibly some pet hair. But if you have a lot of pets, it is better to invest in something more powerful
carpet performance
Despite some positive reviews about this vacuum cleaner that works well on carpets, don’t set your expectations too high as this vacuum cannot deep clean carpets.
Let me repeat that, this vacuum cannot deeply clean carpets.
With only 20 watts of air on the faucet and a weak brush roll, this will only work best as a surface cleaner on low-pile carpets.
If you have a house with a lot of carpets inside, this is not the best option. You’d be better off with something more powerful like the Hoover Linx Stick or the DC59 Motorhead.
upholstery performance
To capture surface dirt on upholstery, this machine has the power to do just that.
Although the crevice tool lacks the length to reach the depth of the crevices. It includes a small robotic tool that you need to clean the dirt and hair on the fabric upholstery.
So there are some limitations.
pet hair
This machine is not suitable for cleaning heavy pet hair as it lacks the power and tools to do so.

Unpacking and cleaning this is easy. All you have to do is remove the mobile device from the cover. The next step will be to push the release lever at the top to open the container.

Consumers who love this product say that this product is excellent for quick cleaning on carpets, bare floors, and upholstery in a small home (more so in a motorhome) as well as cars. If you don’t have time to take out a full sized shaft, this is a great cheap alternative that cleans surface dirt well.
On carpet, this machine will work best on short, dense piles of pile but anything thicker than that will struggle.
The swivel steering is a great feature but without the charging stand, this wouldn’t stand on its own. You have been warned.
Lots of people who have given 4 or 5 star reviews say this is good value for money if you know what to expect.
Consumers who gave poor reviews say they were misled because they expected this to clean carpets but it didn’t work as well as they expected.
Overall, based on reviews, this product will work best as a stain cleaner but don’t expect it to clean anything more than low-pile carpeting. The plastic used wasn’t very high quality but you can’t expect that in a vacuum at this price range. If you have the right expectations for this product you will not be disappointed.
